Monday or Tuesday evening (rotating basis), 4:30pm to 7pm

The Milton Hospital Breast Care Program is dedicated to providing personalized, one on one care with dignity, privacy and warmth in a convenient, comfortable and thoroughly professional atmosphere. Our staff is committed to making your breast care as easy and convenient as possible for you. We take the time to answer all of your questions to ensure that all women understand and are comfortable with their results.

A baseline mammogram is recommended for women at age 35-40, and routine mammograms every year after age 40. Early detection is the key to successful treatment of breast cancer.

No referral is necessary for an annual mammogram and most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Mass Health, cover the cost of a yearly mammogram. To schedule your own mammogram, call the Breast Care Line at 617-696-4600, ext. 1700. The staff will assist you in scheduling your appointment at the most convenient time for you. In addition to daytime hours, we offer morning, evening and Saturday appointments. If your primary care physician determines that your mammogram is of an urgent nature we will schedule your examination within one business day.

Rapid diagnosis is not the only reason to come to Milton Hospital. Here, personalized care is provided as part of a comprehensive range of diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation and support services tailored to meet your individual needs.

Our multidisciplinary team of surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and support staff meet regularly to discuss and make recommendations for ongoing treatment of our patients' breast care.
