Sports-related injuries can come in many different forms, from nagging bumps and bruises to serious fratures.  Often a minor injury, if overlooked and untreated, can lead to more significant issues down the road.

BID-Milton periodically offers a free sports injury clinics for student-athletes, in BID-Milton’s Rehabilitation Services Department. This clinic provides a cost-efficient means for student-athletes to receive care for sports-related injuries before more serious issues develop, or simply to seek assurance about the severity of a particular injury.

At this clinic, BID-Milton orthopaedic physician Benjamin Thompson, MD, and a BID-Milton physical therapist provide injury assessments for student-athletes at the clinic, which will serve as a starting point for pursuing further diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation paths when necessary.

Clinics are typically held during school sports seasons.  For more information, please call 617-313-1143.
