Assisted Living and Senior Retirement Communities

Senior Retirement Communities (SRC’s) and Assisted Living Facilities (ALF’s)are a wonderful option for seniors who need more help than can be provided at home, but who are not ready for Long-Term Care. Milton Hospital physicians are committed to helping patients take advantage of these options by providing on-site care at some of the South Shore’s finest facilities. On-site visits allow even frail seniors to enjoy the benefits of independent living for as long as possible. The Geriatrics Program at Milton Hospital and the Gerontology Division at BIDMC work together to support these physicians, and the facilities they serve, with up-to-date information and resources for geriatric care.
