Pastoral Care

Milton Hospital values the importance of pastoral care for patients and families of all faiths. Local ministers and rabbis are available for patient visitation upon request. These visits may be arranged by calling the hospital's patient advocate at 617-696-4600, ext. 1360.

Roman Catholic patients are served by a collaborative of area parishes. The Archdiocese of Boston has designated a coordinator to facilitate pastoral visitation, Eucharistic ministry by lay volunteers and daily coverage by parish priests. Milton Hospital has a non-denominational chapel located on the ground floor, where you or your family may seek quiet time for prayer or meditation.
