Organ Donation Organ donation provides an opportunity to give life and health to another individual. The decision to be an organ donor should be an informed one. Please inform the hospital staff if you are an organ donor. All blood donations are coordinated through the American Red Cross and can be made at the American Red Cross headquarters in Dedham. Since donating blood requires advance planning, please call 1-800-552-0026 for an appointment well in advance of your scheduled surgery.
