Milton Hospital Earns Top Accreditation

Milton, Mass. - Milton Hospital has earned the Gold Seal of Approval™ by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) by demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission's national standards for health care quality and safety. The JCAHO's accreditation is recognized as the gold standard of approval in health care.
During the extensive on-site review JCAHO surveyors evaluated the hospital's performance in areas that affect patient care. According to Joe Raduazzo, M.D., vice president of medical affairs, Milton Hospital demonstrated full compliance to accreditation standards in all areas including assessment and care services, credentialed practitioners, quality improvement expertise and staffing.
"Every employee, volunteer and member of the medical staff continues to demonstrate extraordinary teamwork which is a critical component to ensure that our patients receive high quality, safe patient care.
