After your preadmission interview, information about your insurance coverage will be forwarded to
the Patient Accounts Department. If you are uninsured or partially insured, you may be asked to
make a deposit when you arrive at the Admitting Department, and then stop by the cashier’s office
on the ground floor to settle any final financial obligations upon discharge.
You may receive several bills for your health care services – one for hospital care and separate
itemized bills for the services of your physician, anesthesiologists, radiologists or other
specialists. If you have any questions about these bills, please call the hospital’s billing
department directly at 617-696-9300.
