Health Screenings
Skin Cancer Screenings
Free skin cancer screenings encourage the early detection and treatment of skin cancer. Screenings are conducted by dermatologists Daniel Finn, MD and Stephen Werth, MD.
- Date: Thursday, May 30
- Time: 4:30-7:00 p.m.
- Place: Second Floor, Brooks Wing
- Cost: FREE, pre-registration required. Call 617-696-8810 to register.
Blood Screenings
Blood Chemistry Profile: Blood is tested for glucose, calcium, protein and indicators of kidney and liver function. Results will be sent directly to participants. NO Fasting required.
Total Cholesterol: Complete "lipid profile" tests blood for cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL ("good" and "bad" cholesterol). A 12-hour fasting, prohibiting all food or drinks except water, is required. Those on medication should consult their physician.
